Jason grew up and has
lived in Northern Kentucky his entire life. His love of
swimming began when he was a member of the Kenton County YMCA Blue
Dolphins. After coaching two summers at the Kenton County
YMCA, he joined the Clipper organization in 1998. In his time with
the Clippers he has coaches all levels of swimming and in 2004 was
named the head coach.

Roberts currently serves on the Ohio LSC Age Group
Committee.
Roberts is proud of his Northern Kentucky roots and he is
excited to have the opportunity to lead thisNorthern
Kentuckyteam and its local
swimmers.
Chad started swimming with the Kenton County YMCA
when he was 8 years old. He lettered three years at Simon
Kenton High School Swim Team and was the team captain his Junior
and Senior years.
Prior to joining our staff in 1999, he coached the Kenton County
YMCA swim team for several years. He also was their lead
instructor for their "learn to swim" program. Chad developed
his love for working with younger swimmers during these years. Chad
also coached a YMCA soccer team and assisted in all sports
programs.

Chad has also attended ASCA conventions to continue his education

Chad has completed his degree in Computer Systems from Beckfield
College.
Melissa has been involved in swimming since she was 4 years
old. She grew up swimming for Cherry Hill Dolphins
(NKSL), Clippers andNotre
DameAcademy
. For one year she swam
OhioUniversity
and worked as its team manager. She started coaching
for the Clippers in 1988, took some time off to have three children
and returned to the team in 2005. All totaled, she has over
15 years coaching experience, where she has coached swimmers from 4
years old to high school seniors. She has a definite love for
swimming and making this sport fun for kids.
Melissa has her level 2 ASCA certification. She has a degree
in elementary education from NKU and also works part time for
Parkland Homes.
A former Clipper swimmer and a former Clipper coach,
Julie returned to the staff in 2005. Growing up she swam for
Beechwood Swim Club (where she still holds a record), Clippers
andNotre
DameAcademy
. She also coached several years in the NKSL.
Since 2001 she has coached with Silverlake’s SwimAmerica
program. She has her degree for NKU in Exercise
Physiology.
Coach Lisa has lived in the Northern Kentucky
area her entire life. She swam at the Tri-City
YMCA, Northern Kentucky Piranhas and the Cincinnati Marlins during
her swimming career from 1974 – 1985.
Lisa joined the Clippers coaching staff in
2005 and is also a Swim America Instructor since 2000 for
Silverlake. Lisa has coach AGD1, AGD2 and
AGD4 groups during her time with Clippers and is currently the lead
coach for AGD4, and an assistant in AGD1. Lisa
is a certified Level 1 coach. Lisa’s
daughters are both members of the Clippers Swim team in AGP2 and
AGD3.
In addition to her Clippers Coaching duties,
Lisa also coaches at Cooper High School and Florence Aquatic
Center. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from
U.C. in Marketing and Management.
Coach Hinken joined the Clippers coaching staff in the fall of
2007 as an assistant with age group program. In the spring of 2009
she was named the Lead Coach of the AP2 group. Under Coach Hinken's
watchful eye she has help develop many JO champions, Sectional
Qualifiers, NCSA Junior National Qualifiers and High School State
Finalists including High School State record holders.
Coach Hinken has two of her three daughters on the team.
