All placements will be at Silverlake The
Family Place - 301 Kenton Lands Road, Erlanger, KY.
Your swimmer will be getting in the water so
the Clippers coaches can observe his/her strokes for placement in
the appropriate swimming development/practice
group.

Better Swimmers, One Stroke at a Time!
Clippers Swimming
believes in creating an environment that will allow each athlete
the opportunity to be successful in swimming, which in turn will
also contribute to being successful in life.
The Clippers train at our home, Silverlake The Family Place, in Erlanger, Kentucky which has a 10
lane, 50 meter pool.
To help each swimmer to develop both personally and athletically,
they are assigned to a group of swimmers by age and ability. While
these are the main criterions for each group, an individual’s
determination, commitment and maturity level is also
considered.
In each group, we begin the season with emphasis on stroke
technique and gradually build endurance. Proper technique is
extremely important as it is much simpler to build endurance and
increase yardage than it is to correct improper stroking that has
developed over time.
How to get your Silverlake
Membership?
Our swimmers must also become members
of the Silverlake The Family Place to be part of the team. Memberships are
available for swimmers, or your entire family can join and enjoy
the facility at any time...even when your child is practicing. When
you come for group placements, someone from Silverlake will give
you a tour of the facility and go over the different membership
plans. You can also visit their web site to get information on the
facility and the types of memberships.
