The Clippers are proud to
announce that senior, Mary Bank has made her
decision to swim at Kenyon College starting next
fall. Mary’s list of schools she decided from was a
very lengthy list that included University of Louisville,
University of Indiana, University of Indianapolis, Drury College
and many others.
About Kenyon College (Taken from Kenyon’s website) For more than
thirty years the name Kenyon has been synonymous with outstanding
women's swimming and diving. And for good reason -- no college or
university in the country can match the sustained excellence of the
Kenyon program.
Since its
inaugural season of 1975-'76, the Ladies swimming and diving team
has developed into a national powerhouse. The Ladies have captured
23 of the last 26 NCAA Division III national championships. From
1984 through 2000, the Kenyon women won 17 straight national
championships -- the second-longest national championship streak in
the history of the NCAA.
In 30 years of
national competition, the Kenyon women have garnered 135 NCAA
individual-event titles and 89 national relay titles. In that same
time span, the Ladies also collected over 1,400 All-America
certificates and 20 Academic All-America awards.
